Our story
Founder and owner Johnny Dolan got his start in his family’s construction business. As his father’s right-hand man, he helped to design and build custom homes throughout Tucson, AZ. For many years, Johnny learned all of the skills of the trade, earning his place as a master construction worker while doing so.
In 2011, while working for a construction company, Johnny entered the storm restoration business, first in Phoenix, AZ and then in Charlotte, NC. When he came to San Antonio, TX to help a family recover from a major hailstorm, he saw the need for qualified contractors. He decided to stay and founded his business, Dolan Roofing & Construction, to meet that need and serve the community of San Antonio as an expert contractor!

Meet our dynamic team of passionate professionals in San Antonio.
Johnny Dolan
Johnny has construction in his blood, he is a second generation contractor. He grew up working alongside his father and brothers in the family construction business. As a teen summers entailed waking at 5am to hot mop their roofing projects. Over the years the family business evolved from a roofing company to building custom homes. As his father’s right-hand man, he helped to design and build custom homes throughout Tucson, AZ. He learned the trades from master craftsmen, working alongside them. Johnny spent several years building homes when he decided to pursue his bachelor’s degree.
In 2011, Johnny entered the storm restoration business, first in Phoenix, AZ and later in Charlotte, NC. He then came to San Antonio, TX, following a major hailstorm, to help a family recover from the damage. It was then that he identified the need for qualified contractors in the area. He decided to stay and founded DRC.
Charles Price
Charles began his career proudly serving our country as a member of the United States Air Force. After his service to our country, he focused his career in construction. Charles brings more than two decades of construction experience to the Dolan Roofing & Construction team, including important skills like building techniques, code compliance, and safety on the job site. As production manager, Charles utilizes his experience to ensure jobs go according to plan, up to code, and with the correct materials. On the occasion something has to change in the field during the job, Charles has the know-how to find and implement the appropriate solution. When he isn’t on the job ensuring our high quality standards are met, Charles loves spending time with his family and rooting for the Spurs.
Thomas Kammerer
Thomas Kammerer joined DRC in November of 2016 as our Foreman/on-site manager. Tommy has been an integral part of the team. You will meet Tommy on your project the day of construction. Thomas directs our crews on the day of the jobs, greets homeowners and answers job site questions, and is there to make sure you are comfortable at the start of construction.
He is on site to solve issues that may arise as the job takes place, and to ensure our property owners are informed. Thomas’s previous experience with Safelight Auto Glass taught him how to manage many people at once, as well as customer expectations, working in many positions from install to dispatch. Tommy also spent time working as a pipe fitter, as part of the union, giving him previous trade experience.
Brandy Tilley
Brandy graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Training & Development/Human Resources. Growing up with parents in the military she learned integrity, discipline, and the ability to quickly make new friends and gained a sense of adventure through their many duty stations across the country. After graduation she left the great state of Texas for a new adventure in Arizona. She was blessed to spend 7 years working in the construction industry in Arizona. There she learned everything from reading plans and preparing take offs, to building code, managing subcontractors, and managing cash flow and profitability. As a sales and estimating rep she worked with national residential home builders and commercial builders. This experience laid the foundation for success in her role with Dolan Restoration.
Brandis Barney
Originally from Kerrville, TX, Brandis grew up in the Hill Country where he worked for his family’s paving and construction business. After switching to the roofing industry in 2016, Brandis joined the Dolan Roofing & Construction team in 2018 and hasn’t looked back. As a roofing consultant, Brandis emphasizes transparency and honesty throughout his work. One of his top priorities is ensuring homeowners aren’t taken advantage of by insurance companies or other roofing companies. Brandis loves to stay active, and some of his hobbies include working out, fly fishing, and hiking. When not playing sports himself, he enjoys watching University of Texas football and the Houston Texans.
Mike Dirksen
Mike worked for Lowes for 17 years. After starting in the garden center, Mike quickly climbed the ladder to a wide assortment of positions including: electrical, plumbing, appliances, proservices, delivery manager, lumber manager, millwork manager and finally, pro service specialist. Mike then decided to change careers after meeting and working with the DRC team for 2 years. Everyone he met was honest, hard working, and happy which made him want to join the team. “The DRC team cares more about people over profits which is why I love DRC.” Mike has lived in San Antonio his whole life. When he’s not hard at work, he loves hanging out with his nieces, traveling, traveling, listening to podcasts, building things, and taking care of his dog and chickens.
Shannon Kammerer
Shannon joined the Dolan Roofing & Construction team in 2016. Currently working as the office manager, she has performed tasks from writing bids and supplements to representing DRC and the homeowner on job sites during insurance inspections. Starting out with the company in the early years meant she had to be a jack of all trades and work more than just her assigned position as the company grew, giving her an all-around knowledge of the whole process. Having previously worked with a structural engineering firm as a project coordinator she gained knowledge in scheduling around conflicts and hands-on knowledge of how buildings are constructed from the ground up getting to shadow engineers on job sites as well as review their detailed reports.
Nina SCHLIEPER
Nina joined the Dolan team in 2022. Her prior work was in the oilfield industry, experience which has helped her excel in her position as a sales admin. Her love for new challenges and serving others has proven to be the perfect fit. When she’s not hard at work, Nina enjoys working out, yard work, exploring San Antonio and cheering on the Lakers. When asked her favorite part of her job, Nina says it’s all about tackling new challenges and working alongside a great team of driven professionals who bring incredible energy to their work daily.
Aaron Strom
Prior to joining the Dolan family, Aaron worked for a chemical company that serviced the oil and gas industry. His experience has proven to be a great asset in his position and has helped him to tackle the multifaceted challenges his position entails. Aaron really enjoys having the opportunity to work in the field alongside his teammates and clients. When he’s not hard at work, Aaron enjoys taking in the great outdoors, spending time with family, grilling and hunting. When asked what he enjoys most about his job, it comes down to “being part of a great team.
Cory Catterson
Account Manager at Dolan Roofing & Construction, Cory has been in the construction industry for more than 20 years, including several spent working alongside Johnny Dolan building custom homes. Cory enjoys identifying and solving roofing problems, as often roofing can be like putting the pieces of a puzzle together. A well-loved member of the community, Cory is known affectionately as “Coach Catt,” with almost 20 year spent as a high school football coach. When he isn’t solving roofing mysteries, Cory enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife of 25 years and two kids currently attending college.
Amanda Ringo
From Somerset, Texas, Amanda Ringo joined the Dolan Roofing & Construction team in 2023. As sales administrative assistant, Amanda is in charge of taking in leads, invoicing, and generally assisting the sales team in completing their critical day-to-day functions. Her previous experience in retail has given her strong customer service skills, which is a top priority of ours!
Ryan Schwarzlose
As an estimator, Ryan Schwarzlose’s role is to complete inspections, write detailed estimates, supplement claims, and work alongside the sales team. Ryan has been in the roofing industry since 2016, holding various positions in sales and customer service. His in-depth knowledge of roofing gives him a knack for providing complete estimates for our customers to budget around.
Ryan was drawn to Dolan Roofing & Construction by our commitment to delivering quality and taking care of our customers. He loves seeing jobs come full circle, from start to finish, and hopes to contribute to sustaining and further growing our business. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, hiking, woodworking, reading, and traveling!
Mason Catterson
Mason got his start in the roofing industry and at Dolan Roofing & Construction in 2017 through part-time work with his family, officially joining our team in 2019. A member of our sales team, Mason, works to ensure customers are connected with the right solutions for their needs as easily as possible.
With years of customer service experience, he has been a valuable asset in providing top-quality care for our customers, and Mason enjoys connecting with others—both customers and team members, through his work. In his free time, Mason enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as lifting, snowboarding, and golfing.
Steven Garcia
Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Steven grew up learning hands-on skills from his grandfather, who taught him everything from car repair to plumbing, electrical work, and home construction. Those early experiences on rooftops with his grandfather sparked a lifelong passion that would eventually lead him back to the roofing industry. Steven built his career primarily in the automotive industry, working his way up from car detailing to technician, service advisor, service manager, and car sales for brands like Honda and Volvo. Throughout his automotive career, he never stopped honing the handyman skills his grandfather taught him.
In March 2025, Steven joined the Dolan Roofing & Construction team as a sales professional. What Steven enjoys most about his role is working with a team that lives by the principle "it's the right thing to do" every day, and he takes pride in providing exceptional service. When he's not helping homeowners, Steven loves spending time with his 4-year-old and 1-year-old sons, who keep him busy with outdoor adventures. He's also a San Antonio Spurs fan and enjoys skateboarding, remote camping, and hiking trails.
