Deep roots in the construction industry
Dolan Roofing & Construction can trace its deep roots back to 1973, when current owner Johnny’s father John founded his construction business in Tucson, AZ. The business began as a roofing company, and Johnny spent many summers with his dad hot mopping roofs. In the 90’s, the company transitioned to construction, building custom homes throughout the area with incredible care and attention to detail.
In particular, their craftsmanship was well known when it came to beautiful, handcrafted specialty ceilings, walls, and gates. A family business, the Dolan tradition spanned two generations of builders. There are even photos of DRC founder Johnny on job sites with his dad years ago!

For many years, Johnny worked with his father and learned all the skills of the construction and restoration trade. Now a master construction worker, he worked with other construction companies before entering the storm restoration business, first in Phoenix, AZ and later in Charlotte, NC.
Later, Johnny traveled to San Antonio, TX on a project to help a family recover from a severe hailstorm that had struck the area. There was a clear need for qualified contractors when it came to roofing and storm restoration, and he had just the right expertise. He stayed in the area, and Dolan Roofing & Construction was born!
